Ruddick Lawrence

Ruddick Lawrence is a seasoned professional in the fields of robotics and engineering, currently serving as a Venture Partner at Bee Partners since August 2024, focusing on startups in the robotics and industrial hardware sectors. Prior experience includes co-founding Rapid Robotics, Inc. and occupying the role of Chief Technology Officer from November 2019 to November 2023. Ruddick held several key positions at Carbon Robotics, including Vice President of Engineering and Head of Platform, and worked at Intuitive Surgical as a manager in NPI Diagnostics Engineering. Additional roles include Product Manager and Senior Mechatronics Wrangler at Luidia, Technical Co-founder at a Y Combinator-backed startup, and various engineering and research roles, including a teaching assistant position at Stanford University. Ruddick holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, completed in 2010 and 2008, respectively.
