Andrew James Gross is a CNRS researcher at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique and a co-founder of BeFC Bioenzymatic Fuel Cells, contributing expertise in electrochemistry, electrocatalysis, surface chemistry, and bioelectronics. With a strong background in enzymatic biofuel cells and biosensors, Andrew has held postdoctoral positions at Université Joseph Fourier and the University of Bath, where pioneering work in nanostructured electrochemical technologies was conducted. Andrew's early career involved founding the MacDiarmid Emerging Scientists Association in New Zealand and working as an instrument technician and laboratory technician at Hill Laboratories. Andrew holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Canterbury and Université Joseph Fourier, following an MChem in Chemistry from the University of Surrey.
