Willem Notelteirs is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Manager of Engineering at Belgoprocess since December 2011, where responsibilities include managing and mentoring project leaders, site supervisors, and safety coordinators, as well as overseeing the PMO from 2016 to 2020. Previously, Willem held the position of Process Engineer specializing in Decommissioning and Decontamination, managing technical aspects related to radioactive materials, knowledge management, and licensing in the decommissioning sector. In addition, since August 2015, Willem has been responsible for organizing blood collection activities and coordinating volunteer efforts at Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen, while also serving on the board of the Geel department. Earlier experience includes roles as a Production Engineer and Development Engineer at Philips Lighting, where notable achievements involved significant cost reductions and efficiency improvements in production processes. Willem holds a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Electrotechnical Engineering from KU Leuven, obtained in 2004.
