Maya Nyayapati is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer with a strong background in data platforms. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Benchling since May 2023, Maya previously held roles at Stripe and Salesforce, contributing to the Clearing Platform and leading Search Backend initiatives, respectively. Maya's career began with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UC San Diego, supplemented by tutoring roles at the university and Monta Vista High School. Earlier experience includes internships at Salesforce, focusing on software engineering and quality assurance, as well as a position at ThoughtStem, where creative programming projects were developed for youth education.
