Luis Sampaio has extensive work experience in the field of purchasing and commodity buying. Luis started their career as a Toolmaker at KIMG in 1998 and then worked at thyssenkrupp as an Operador multifuncional III from 2001 to 2006. Luis joined Plascar in 2007 as a Tooling Development Analyst, where they were responsible for Tooling development follow up, try out, and parts approval, as well as tooling cost estimation. In 2010, Luis moved to Takata as a Technical Buyer and then joined Magna International in 2011 as a Project Buyer. Luis worked at BENTELER Automotive as a Senior Commodity Buyer - Press Parts from 2012 to 2015 and then joined Knorr-Bremse AG as a Senior Commodity Buyer from 2015 to 2016. Currently, Luis holds the position of Head Of Purchasing at BENTELER Group, which they assumed in August 2018.
