Kimille Howard is an accomplished theatre professional with extensive experience in directing, producing, and stage management. Currently serving as an Assistant Stage Director at the Metropolitan Opera since August 2019, Kimille also has a freelance career that includes roles as Director, Producer, and Sound Engineer for various productions since August 2012. Kimille's notable positions include Assistant Director for "Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations" at Berkeley Repertory Theatre and Artistic Director of the High School Playwrighting Fellowship Program at the Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation, overseeing the inaugural 2020 Fellowship plays. Kimille has contributed to organizations such as the Manhattan Theatre Club as a Jonathan Alper Directing Fellow and has served as a Resident Director at The Flea Theater. Kimille's educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Loyola University Chicago and studies at Nantes Université.
