Dana Lascala

Dana LaScala is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel at W. R. Berkley Corporation since May 2024. Prior to this role, Dana accumulated extensive experience at AIG from January 2016 to April 2024 in various capacities including Assistant General Counsel for Litigation and Associate Counsel in Complex Casualty Claims. Dana's responsibilities involved the investigation and evaluation of coverage under various policies, alongside drafting coverage position letters. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate Attorney at Finazzo Cossolini O'Leary Meola & Hager, LLC, focusing on insurance coverage and subrogation, and representing national manufacturers in personal injury actions. Dana began a legal career as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Katherine R. Dupuis at the Superior Court of New Jersey. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law.
