Derek Port

Derek Port is an experienced technology leader, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Best Buy since March 2022, having previously held the role of Associate Director of Engineering. Notable prior positions include Senior IT Delivery Manager at Huntington National Bank and Senior Architect at TCF Bank. Derek has a diverse background in engineering and software development, with extensive experience in Sitecore environments, as demonstrated during roles at TCF Bank and Avanade, where expertise in Sitecore Development and Information Architecture was applied. Additional experience encompasses positions at Portico Benefit Services, Ceridian, Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, and Securian Financial Group, contributing to various aspects of software engineering, configuration management, and web development.
