Aparna Gala

Aparna Gala is an accomplished Senior Fermentation Scientist at Better Dairy since January 2025, specializing in precision fermentation and sustainable food innovations. Previously, Aparna worked as a Fermentation Scientist at FabricNano, where contributions included the production of quality-controlled cell-free extracts and optimization of fermentation processes. In a prior role as Deputy Manager in R&D at Privi Speciality Chemicals Ltd., Aparna led research in microbial fermentation process optimization and developed biocatalytic processes for biomass conversion. Aparna's experience also includes significant accomplishments at Privi Organics India Ltd. and Privi Organics Ltd., focusing on bioprocess design and enhancement, resulting in increased yields and product purity. Aparna holds a Master's degree in Bioprocess Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Bombay College of Pharmacy.
