David Skocypec

David Skocypec currently serves as the VP of Engineering and Hardware Engineering at Bevi, overseeing the mechanical, electrical, firmware, and R&D development aligned with the product roadmap. Previous roles at Bevi include Director of Hardware Engineering and Director of Electrical Engineering, where responsibilities involved managing engineering teams, developing product schedules, and improving design reliability. Prior to Bevi, David held various engineering leadership positions at Bigbelly, including Director of Engineering and Chief Engineer & Product Manager, where accomplishments included successful manufacturing transitions and the release of innovative products such as a high-efficiency solar charger and a smart waste system. Earlier experience includes a tenure at iRobot as a Senior Electrical Engineer and at Analog Devices as an Applications/Systems Engineer, focusing on embedded processor designs and managing engineering teams.
