Sanjay Bhattacharya is the current President of Project Management at BGR Energy. HePreviously worked at TATA Power for 30 years, where they were responsible for setting up the company's first greenfield power project.
Bhattacharya has been instrumental in several key projects during their time at TATA Power. These include the construction of the first 500 MW power plant in India, the commissioning of the country's first FGD unit, and the refurbishment of Units 4, 5 & 6 at the Trombay power plant.
Under Bhattacharya's leadership, TATA Power has established itself as a reliable and efficient energy provider. Thanks to their efforts, the company has won several awards and accolades, including ISO 9001-2000/14001-2004 and reliability centered maintenance certification.
Sanjay Bhattacharya pursued a Masters in Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Mechanical Engineering. Sanjay then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering at Bengal Engineering College in the same field.
