Maya started their career at Edelman Public Relations as a Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor, where they advised companies on crisis management, corporate governance, and social responsibility.
Maya also worked at the U.S. Department of Energy as a Special Assistant to the Secretary and Advisor to the Chief of Staff from 1999 to 2001, managing various initiatives within the Department.
Maya'searliest work experience was at The White House, where they served as a Special Assistant to the Cabinet Secretary, responsible for federal agency coordination, event planning, and travel management for the President, Vice President, and Cabinet.
Maya Seiden completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and East Asian Studies from Wesleyan University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended the American School in Japan from 1990 to 1994, although no degree or field of study information was provided for this institution. Maya further pursued their education at NYU Stern School of Business from 2004 to 2006, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on International Finance, Economics, Law, and Business.
