Chris Lain has a broad range of work experience in the recruitment and talent acquisition field. Chris started their career as a Temporary and Permanent Consultant at Brook Street in 2005. Chris then worked as a Permanent Legal Consultant at Crone Corkill before moving on to an Internal Recruitment Consultant role at Elan IT.
In 2008, Chris joined Veredus UK as an Assistant Consultant, where they gained experience in executive search and selection, interim management, and business psychology. Chris later became a Consultant in Central Government Interim Management and Executive Search and Selection. Chris also worked as an Associate Partner at Alium Partners Limited, where they were responsible for developing client and candidate relationships and managing the Alium Research team.
Prior to joining BigHand, Chris held roles at Mason & Cook, a company that specializes in resource management for the legal industry. Chris was the Head of Recruitment and then became the Head of Operations. Chris played a key role in the acquisition of Mason & Cook by BigHand, where they currently serve as the Head of Talent Acquisition, overseeing talent acquisition processes and strategies globally.
Throughout their career, Chris has gained extensive experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, and executive search across various industries and functional areas.
Chris Lain obtained a BA Hons degree in Business from Staffordshire University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Halesowen College from 1996 to 1998, and studied Business Studies.
