Wissam Ali-Ahmad is a highly experienced technology professional, currently serving as Principal Technical Architect in the CTO Office at BigID since March 2022, and as Chief Technical Advisor at Smart Yields since October 2021. With extensive expertise in data security and AI ethics, Wissam has contributed significantly to various organizations, including Splunk, where strategic leadership led to the growth of a technology partner ecosystem from 3 to 120 partners in less than a year, and the launch of multiple key integrations. Wissam's previous roles encompass cloud operations management at AppSense, software architecture at Infoblox, and development management at Qualys, showcasing a diverse skill set across architecture, engineering, and management. Holding advanced degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and American University of Beirut, Wissam possesses a strong educational background in engineering systems and communication engineering.
