Hannah Troxel

Hannah Troxel, Ph.D., is a Senior User Researcher at BILL since March 2024, bringing extensive experience in research and academia. Previously a Graduate Researcher at Rutgers University from August 2016 to February 2024, Hannah utilized qualitative and quantitative methods to explore the intersections of obesity with medical knowledge and health behaviors, while also applying computational techniques to analyze public perceptions of the COVID-19 pandemic on Reddit. A dedicated educator, Hannah received the Teaching Honor Roll recognition from 2018 to 2021 and taught various courses in sociology. Additional roles include research internships and significant administrative responsibilities in program coordination while at Touro College and support roles at New York University. Hannah holds a Ph.D. and an MA in Sociology from Rutgers University, alongside a degree in Individualized Study from New York University.
