Sarah Heller

Sarah Heller is an accomplished compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Director of Compliance and MLRO at Billie since July 2021, Sarah has held multiple compliance-related roles within the company, including Co-Head of Compliance and Senior Compliance Manager. Prior to Billie, Sarah worked at Klarna from October 2019 to June 2021 in various compliance positions, including Compliance Manager and Deputy MLRO for the German Branch. Additional experience includes roles at BillPay GmbH and SOFORT GmbH, both part of Klarna, as Deputy Anti Money Laundering Officer. Earlier positions include Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer at Awin Global, Trademark Paralegal at Eversheds Sutherland Germany, and Freelancing Journalist. Sarah's education includes a Bachelor of Laws from Maastricht University and a Master of Laws from Technische Universität Dresden, alongside various other legal and journalism qualifications.
