Yunyun Ni

Yunyun Ni is a seasoned professional in bioinformatics with extensive experience in oncology and next generation sequencing. Currently serving as a Senior Manager in Bioinformatics Oncology at BillionToOne since April 2024, Yunyun previously held roles at Helix as an Associate Director and Bioinformatics Scientist from October 2016 to April 2024, and contributed as a Bioinformatician at Houston Methodist Hospital from March 2015 to June 2016. Yunyun's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Life Sciences and an M.S. in Bioinformatics from the University of Michigan, as well as a BS in Life Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Research experience encompasses a postdoctoral position at the University of Texas at Austin with a focus on next generation sequencing data analysis and cancer biology, as well as a research assistant role at the University of Michigan studying transcriptional regulation.
