Alejandro Chávez Alor

Alejandro Chávez Alor is an accomplished legal professional with significant expertise in regulatory and legal affairs. Currently serving as the Head of Regulatory and Legal Affairs for North Latam & Caribbean at Binance since July 2022, Alejandro previously held the position of Chief Legal Officer and Senior Legal Counsel at Play Business from March 2019 to July 2022. Alejandro's experience includes serving as Senior Legal Manager at Banobras (2017-2019) and as an Associate Professor of Corporate Governance at Universidad Panamericana in 2018, as well as an Associate Professor of Banking and Securities Law at Universidad Anáhuac Mexico Norte (2017-2018). Additionally, Alejandro worked as a Legal Associate at Santamarina + Steta from May 2016 to October 2017, following a tenure as a Law Clerk at the same firm from 2013 to 2016. Alejandro earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, completing studies there from 2011 to 2016.
