Ragana Vurelly is currently a Student Administrative Assistant and BIO5 Ambassador at the UArizona BIO5 Institute, an interdisciplinary research center that promotes bioscience innovation and scientific discoveries. In addition, Ragana serves as a Student Health Screener for the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Arizona, focusing on healthcare disparities among marginalized populations. Previous experience includes a position as a Seasonal Retail Associate at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. and serving as Observation Site Lead during the vaccination efforts at the University of Arizona, where responsibilities included training volunteers and assisting patients. Ragana is pursuing a Master of Science in Biostatistics and Data Science at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, building on a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Arizona.
