Doug Johnson

Doug Johnson is a highly experienced professional in the field of chemical biology and medicinal chemistry, currently serving as Senior Director at Biogen since April 2018, after previously holding the role of Director of Chemical Biology & Proteomics. Prior to Biogen, Doug spent nearly two decades at Pfizer, progressing from Medicinal Chemist to Senior Scientific Director, where leadership of the Chemical Biology Group and mentorship of postdoctoral fellows were key responsibilities. Doug holds a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Organic Chemistry from Harvard University, a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Scripps Research, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
