Bo Gao

Bo Gao is a scientist with extensive experience in the field of nanomaterials and surface modification. Currently at BioLegend since January 2019, Bo Gao contributes to various projects in the development of nanoparticles for biomedical diagnostics, optics, composites, and photothermal treatment. Previously, at nanoComposix from April 2015 to January 2019, Bo Gao held the position of Senior Scientist, focusing on similar areas. Bo Gao began a postdoctoral research role at the Tao Lab, UC San Diego Nanoengineering from September 2009 to October 2013, where the focus was on the synthesis and surface functionalization of nanoparticles. Bo Gao obtained a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame and a BS in Chemistry from Fudan University.
