Luis Ramos is a Mechanical Engineer at BioNano Genomics, Inc. since November 2014, focusing on improving designs for current PSAs and creating alignment fixtures to streamline assembly and installation processes. Additionally, Luis has designed and released machined and sheet metal parts for the Irys single-molecule next-generation mapping instrument. Concurrently, since June 2013, Luis serves as a Mechanical Design Engineer at CareFusion, contributing to the design of next-generation mobile dispensing units and the development of injection molded parts. Luis obtained an education from San Diego State University between 1992 and 1996.
