Mark Oldakowski serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Bionano Genomics, Inc. since October 2014, where leadership focuses on the development and production of instruments, assays, consumables, software, and bioinformatics pertaining to DNA structural variations in human disease and evolution. Previously, Mark held various senior leadership roles, including Sr. Director of Engineering and Chief Product Officer at Brooks Life Science Systems, Director of Engineering at Affymetrix, Sr. Manager at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, and Sr. Manager at Applied Biosystems, where responsibilities encompassed managing engineering teams and overseeing product development in life sciences. Mark holds a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
