David Dean

Dave joined BioXcel in September 2022 as the Chief Financial Officer of their parent company, BioXcel LLC. In this position, Dave will work with senior leadership and the board of directors in the development and execution of strategy to drive significant growth within their organization. Prior to joining BioXcel, Dave served as CFO at a Connecticut-based medical device company, leading the sale of the company three times over a ten year span, each sale at significantly increased valuations. Dave has served in financial leadership positions over the past thirty years, focused on healthcare, life science instrumentation and medical devices. He started his professional career with the national accounting firm Arthur Andersen.
