Mike Zimmerman

Mike Zimmerman is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Completions Superintendent at Birchcliff Energy Ltd. since October 2018. Prior to this role, Zimmerman held the position of Senior Completions Engineer at Paramount Resources from August 2017 to October 2018 and at Apache Canada Ltd. from July 2011 to August 2017. Zimmerman began a career at Halliburton, where a range of roles were undertaken, including Operations Manager for Sperry Drilling Australia and various positions related to multilateral projects. Educationally, Zimmerman earned a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta between 1997 and 2002. Additionally, prior to university, Zimmerman worked as a Student Activities Coordinator at the University of Alberta Students' Union.
