Research Scientist -- Autonomous Driving Perception at Black Sesame Technologies

Meng M. began their work experience as an Assistant Researcher at the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology in 2013. In this role, they focused on computer vision and machine learning, utilizing OpenCV tracker to track object motion and generate trajectory data for Spatio-Temporal Knowledge Graphs. They continued in this role until 2016.

Following their time at the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology, Meng M. transitioned to a Postdoctoral Researcher position at North Carolina Central University in 2017. Here, their research centered around computer vision and deep learning. They held this position until 2019.

Most recently, in 2020, Meng M. joined Black Sesame Technologies Inc as a Research Scientist specializing in autonomous driving perception. Their responsibilities included conducting computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning research, with a particular emphasis on automotive driver monitor systems and algorithm design.

Meng M. completed their Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Vision and Machine Learning from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology. Meng attended this university from 2013 to 2016. Prior to their Ph.D., Meng M. pursued a Master's degree in Computer Vision and Machine Learning at North China University of Technology from 2010 to 2013, with a specialization in Image Processing.
