Xiuyuan Bi began their work experience in 2011 with an internship at Qualcomm. In 2014, they joined Marvell Semiconductor as a Staff ASIC design engineer and worked there until 2018. In 2018, they joined Black Sesame Technologies Inc as a Senior Staff Design Engineer.
Xiuyuan Bi completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Xiuyuan then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Integrated Circuit Design at Tsinghua University from 2007 to 2010. After that, they attended the Polytechnic Institute of New York University from 2010 to 2012, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Lastly, Xiuyuan Bi completed another Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 2012 to 2014.
