Abdel Bottos is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Abdel is currently working as an Analytical Development and Product Support Manager at Blistex Inc. since March 2015. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Scientist / Group Leader at Zoetis Inc. in 2014. Before joining Zoetis Inc., Abdel worked at Akorn Pharmaceutical as a Senior Research Scientist from 2012 to 2014. Abdel also gained experience as a Principal Scientist at Celgene in 2011 and as a Research Scientist / Group Leader at Baxter International Inc. from 2006 to 2011. Additionally, they served as a Senior Scientist / Group Leader at Perrigo Company plc from 2006 to 2007, as well as at Qualitest Pharmaceuticals from 2004 to 2006. Abdel started their career as a Project Leader at Apotex Inc. from 1999 to 2004 and as a Scientist at MGP from 1994 to 1999.
Abdel Bottos attended HEPL - Haute Ecole de la Province de Liège from 1982 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemical Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at Northeastern Illinois University from 1995 to 1998, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Analytical Chemistry/Separation Sciences.
