Emad ELBATAWI is a seasoned professional in the field of materials engineering with a distinguished career spanning multiple decades. Currently serving as a Distinguished Fellow at Bloom Energy since April 2012, Emad previously held the position of Fellow at the same company from October 2004 to April 2012. Prior experience includes a role as CTO at Sulzer Hexis from August 1999 to August 2004 and as a Senior Engineer at Sulzer Innotec AG from October 1991 to 1999. Emad earned a PhD in Metallurgy, Ceramics, and Ordered Materials with a focus on electron microscopy from Université de Neuchâtel (1987-1991) and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from EPFL (1983-1987). The educational background also includes an International Baccalaureate from the International School of Geneva (1970-1983).
