Chris Cioffi

Chris Cioffi is a seasoned journalist and educator, currently serving as a Senior Congressional Reporter for Bloomberg Industry Group, focusing on tax-related policy in Congress. In addition, Chris is an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Maryland, teaching media graphics with an emphasis on design fundamentals. Previous experience includes roles as a Congressional Reporter and Online Editor at CQ Roll Call, as well as positions in digital journalism at WTOP News and NBC Washington. Chris has also worked in various reporting capacities, covering courts and general news for local newspapers, and has contributed to community services through AmeriCorps VISTA. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Data Journalism from the University of Maryland and is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at American University, alongside a certificate in Technology and Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
