Noel Gunasekar

Noel Gunasekar is an experienced engineering manager currently working at Bloomberg LP since February 2009, where roles have included Engineering Manager for Index Calc & Data Infrastructure, Lead Developer for Portfolio Optimization, and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to this, Noel held the position of Research Assistant at the State University of New York at Buffalo, working with Dr. Rutao Yao, and served as a Software Engineer Intern at eGrabber, where a Semantic Web-Browser was prototyped. Additionally, a tenure at ProdEx Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer involved designing a scalable algorithm for fuzzy duplicates removal.
