Julia Brodsky is the Founder, CEO, and Lead Instructor of Art of Inquiry, LLC, an interactive online science school for middle-school students. Julia is also a University Lecturer at UMD, a contributing writer for Forbes, and the Co-Founder of Earthlings Hub, a non-profit serving children affected by the war in Ukraine. Additionally, Julia is an Emergent Ventures grant winner at Mercatus Center and an Affiliated Research Scientist at Blue Marble Space Institute of Science. Prior to their current roles, Julia worked as a Sr. System Engineer and Risk Manager at Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies and as a Senior Systems Engineer at ARES Corporation. Julia's educational background includes studying aerospace engineering at Rice University and obtaining a MS in physics, astrophysics, and space research from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

Blue Marble Space Institute of Science is a 501(c)(3) non-profit research institute with an interdisciplinary approach to studying the relationship between Earth system science, space exploration, and the future of humanity. Our members constitute a distributed network of scientists across the world that integrate research across disciplinary boundaries and facilitate scientific conversations with the public in traditional and innovative ways.
