Samson Humphrey is a dedicated horticultural science graduate student at North Carolina State University, conducting research on strawberry propagation under the guidance of Dr. Ricardo Hernández. Additionally, as a visiting scholar at the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science, Samson contributes to the development of a database for research on plants in space and has analyzed and curated research in this field through the Young Scientist Program. Samson's experience includes writing articles for astrobotany.com, organizing the Florida FFA State Environmental Science and Natural Resources CDE, and engaging in various undergraduate research assistant roles at the University of Florida, focusing on plant sciences and ecological studies. Samson holds a Bachelor's degree in Plant Sciences from the University of Florida and currently pursues a Master's degree in the same field.
