Josh Villbrandt

Josh Villbrandt is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer at SpaceX, beginning in July 2024, with a robust background in software development and engineering. Formerly the Head of Software at Stellar Pizza, Josh outlined software architecture and established best practices while managing multiple teams. As a cofounder and CTO at Gravitr, contributions were made towards building a marketing platform MVP and automating deployment on AWS. At inVia Robotics, leadership was provided in rebuilding the Robot Management System, enhancing throughput for numerous robots. Early career experiences at SpaceX included significant involvement in avionics systems and automation, along with web development roles at Illumin Magazine and other companies. Josh holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, specializing in Intelligent Robotics, and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution.
