Sarah James has a Bachelor of Health and Movement (Sport) from the Australian College of Physical Education. Over the years, Sarah has held various positions in sports administration and swimming coaching, most recently serving as an Assistant Swim Manager at BlueFit. Sarah has experience in managing school swimming lessons, coordinating swim schools, and stroke development coaching. Sarah also has a background in community engagement and aquatic services supervision.

BlueFit is a young leisure facility management company established in 2007 at the Lane Cove Aquatic Leisure Centre. The company prides itself in offering Councils a true partner in asset management, working closely with them and on their behalf to promote participation in leisure to all corners of their LGA. A proven hard-working attitude with complete transparency has had an enormous impact on the 30 recreational sites BlueFit has been involved in during its first decade of operation.
