Katherine Dames currently serves as the Managing Director of Education and Workforce Development at BlueForge Alliance, a position held since February 2023. Prior to this role, Dames was the Director of both the South Texas Ecosystem and the RGV Manufacturing Ecosystem at Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station from October 2021 to February 2023. Previous experience includes serving as Deputy Director of RGV FOCUS at the Communities Foundation of Texas from July 2017 to October 2021, and holding various educational roles at Lyford High School, American Heritage Private School, Crowder College Upward Bound, and Neosho Public Schools. Dames holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, a Master of Arts in Spanish Linguistics from The University of Texas-Pan American, and both a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Science, Ed. in Spanish from Missouri State University.
