Vivek Patil

Vivek Patil is an accomplished medical professional with a diverse range of experiences in teaching, research, and medical writing. Currently serving as an MCAT Tutor at Blueprint Test Prep, Vivek specializes in creating tailored lessons to help students achieve their exam goals. As a Research Assistant in the Department of Anesthesia at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Vivek has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications, taking the lead as first author on two projects. At London Health Sciences Centre, Vivek is leading a systematic review on perioperative steroid management in minimally-invasive glaucoma surgeries and has also conducted an honours thesis exploring the connection between sleep apnea and glaucoma. Previously, Vivek worked as a Medical Writer at KA Imaging Inc., developing scholarly documents for diverse audiences, and assisted in research at Western University focusing on numerical cognition. Vivek is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at McMaster University, building upon a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Western University.
