Jacob Tietze has extensive experience in both art education and skilled trades. Since November 2012, Jacob has served as a UA 290 Journeyman Steamfitter at BMWC. Prior to this role, Jacob worked as a Studio Art Teacher at St. Marys Home for Boys from May 2005 to November 2012, teaching various art disciplines in a rehabilitation setting. Jacob also held the position of Teaching Assistant at Pacific Northwest College of Art in 2012, and managed the ceramics studio at Oregon College of Art & Craft from September 2008 to December 2010, overseeing inventory and equipment maintenance. Academically, Jacob earned a Master of Fine Arts in Applied Craft and Design from Pacific Northwest College of Art and a BFA in Craft, specializing in ceramics, drawing, and painting, from Oregon College of Art & Craft.
