Andrea Vaughn

Andrea Vaughn currently works as a Cost Estimator at Bonneville Power Administration since May 2023. Prior to this role, Andrea spent a decade at Newport News Shipbuilding, holding various positions including Electrical Planner and Scheduler, Subcontract Representative, and Electrician, where responsibilities included installing electrical equipment, planning systems, leading work packages, and fostering strong team dynamics. Andrea also contributed to education as a Math Specialist at Southampton Middle School and as a Substitute Teacher at Southampton County Schools, enhancing students' understanding and performance in math. Earlier experiences include serving as an Administrative Assistant at Chowan University and a Tutor at Paul D Camp Community College. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Chowan University.
