Mr. Hugues Girardin is the EVP & General Manager, North America of Boralex. First with Cascades Energy and then with Boralex, Hugues Girardin has over 25 years experience in renewable energy. He has actively contributed to Boralex’s success over the years by leading major projects such as The Seigneurie de Beaupré Wind Farms, which is currently of Canada’s largest wind power projects, and the Niagara Region Wind Farm, among many others. He has also worked to built strong partnerships with several municipal districts.
More recently, Mr. Girardin has successfully led the completion of all of the economic interests of Invenergy Renewables LLC in 5 wind farms in Québec, totaling 201 MW of net installed capacity, for a total cash consideration of $215 million.
Mr. Girardin has an extensive breadth of knowledge and experience in the North American wind industry and a passion for the environment and the role that renewable energy can play in supporting the sustainability of our planet for future generations.
