Xin Chen

Xin Chen is a highly experienced Senior Scientist with a strong background in the field of chemistry, particularly focused on lithium-ion battery research. Since September 2022, Xin Chen has been employed at Exponent, and previously held senior scientist positions at CertainTeed and SABIC. Prior to these roles, Xin Chen worked as a visiting research associate at Silatronix, Inc., contributing to method development in lithium-ion battery technology. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China. Additional experience encompasses research assistant roles and teaching assistance at both universities, where Xin Chen engaged in significant research and instruction related to electrolyte and electrode interactions.
