Mercedes B. Aza

Mercedes B. Aza is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both investment and design. Currently, Mercedes serves as a Member of Boston Harbor Angels since January 2011, where involvement focuses on investing in high-growth, early-stage companies. As a Faculty Member at Boston Architectural College since 2007, Mercedes has developed and taught the "Business Strategies for Competitive Advantage" program. Additionally, Mercedes holds the position of Vice President at Roomscapes Luxury Design Center, a premier design-build firm in the Boston area, since 1991. Past roles include participation in the NKBA Advisory Board, serving as a Financial Advisor at Salomon Smith Barney, and contributing to the South Shore Women Business Network. Formerly a Corporate Lawyer at Fujitsu, Mercedes also has a strong academic background, including an MBA from Bryant University and degrees in Law from both Madrid Law School and Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
