Innocent Basupi, PhD, is a Senior Researcher at the Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation (BITRI) since November 2017, following a progression from Researcher to Postdoctoral Researcher in the same institution. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Volunteer at the University of Botswana from September 2015 to September 2018 and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Johannesburg from August 2015 to July 2016. Innocent also worked independently as a Researcher from January 2014 to July 2015. Earlier roles include Water Engineer at CPP Botswana Consulting Engineers and Graduate Engineer positions at Water Resources Consultants and Stephenson and Associates. Innocent's academic qualifications include a PhD in Water Engineering from the University of Exeter and both a BEng and MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Botswana.
