Matt Smith

Matt Smith is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in client engagement and creative direction. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Client Engagement & Growth at Bottle Rocket since May 2017, Matt has held various leadership roles within the company, including Vice President of Experience Design and Managing Strategist. Prior to Bottle Rocket, Matt operated as a Freelance Creative Director/Writer at Just Add Matt, LLC from May 2014 to September 2021. Matt's earlier career includes significant positions at imc2 and Tribal DDB, where leadership was provided for renowned clients such as Pepsi, Verizon, and Omni Hotels and Resorts. Matt began a career in advertising as a Copywriter at McCann Erickson Southwest and has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an Advertising Sequence from the University of North Texas.
