David Stern

David Stern has extensive experience in the field of biological sciences, currently serving as President and Professor at the Boyce Thompson Institute since January 1989. Prior to this role, David held a postdoctoral fellowship at UC Berkeley from January 1986 to December 1988, working in the laboratory of Wilhelm Gruissem. David's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Stanford University (1982-1986), an M.Phil. in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge (1981-1982), and an A.B. in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley (1977-1981).
