Romain Serman

Romain Serman currently serves as the Director of Bpifrance USA since September 2014. Previous roles include Mentor at thecamp (2018 - June 2020) and The Refiners (September 2016 - March 2020). As Consul General of France in San Francisco (August 2010 - August 2014), Romain Serman focused on building a robust business network, supporting the business development of French corporations, facilitating US investments in France, and promoting academic partnerships. Earlier experience includes serving as Secretary General of the France - Africa Summit 2010, Advisor to the French President on African affairs, First Secretary at the French Mission to the United Nations, and Algeria Desk Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Romain Serman's academic background includes a degree from ENA - École nationale d'administration and a Master's degree from Sciences Po.
