Shila Akter

Shila Akter is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in various roles related to recruitment, training, and customer service. Currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Officer at BRAC since January 2021, Shila is responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation. Previous roles at BRAC included Center Lead and Trainer for the Skills Development Programme, where Shila facilitated seminars, workshops, and training sessions on topics such as retail sales and gender equality. Prior to BRAC, Shila worked at Agora Limited as a Customer Relationship Supervisor and Trainer, overseeing cashier operations and customer service training. Shila's educational background includes an MBA in Marketing and a BBA in Human Resources Management from Stamford University Bangladesh, along with pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Development from the Bangladesh Institute of Management.
