Amr Farid is an experienced executive currently serving as Group CEO, Board Member, and Co-CEO at Baraka Optics since September 2009, where also leads Organization Development. Additionally, Amr co-founded and serves as Chairman of brainquil since July 2012 and was the Co-founder and Managing Partner of SmartUps.co from March 2014 to April 2017, a pioneering company builder in the region. Prior experience includes an internship in logistics at Heidelberg in 2008. Amr holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Economics as well as a Bachelor's degree in the same fields, both from Technische Universität Darmstadt, and completed the Abitur at Deutsche Evangelische Oberschule (DEO).
