Jake Wood

Jake Wood is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader, currently serving as the Cofounder and CEO of Groundswell, a social impact platform designed to enhance employee giving and volunteering experiences since July 2021. As Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Team Rubicon, established in January 2010, Jake has played a pivotal role in organizing military veterans for disaster response efforts, providing them with a renewed sense of purpose. Additionally, Jake is an author, having published the memoir "ONCE A WARRIOR" in November 2020, detailing personal experiences in war and the founding of Team Rubicon. Jake's contributions extend to the Council on Foreign Relations as a Term Member, and previous board experience with Nordic Aviation Capital, along with advisory roles at DocuSign and the Atlantic Council. Jake's background includes service as a Scout Sniper in the United States Marine Corps from 2005 to 2009, complemented by a BBA in Business and Political Science from the Wisconsin School of Business.
