Emma de Roos

Emma de Roos has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Emma is currently employed at Brambles as the Global Transfer Pricing and Regional Tax Lead, a position they have held since September 2023. Before joining Brambles, they worked at Block as the Lead, International Tax & Transfer Pricing from August 2022 to September 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Tax at Afterpay from May 2018 to September 2023. Emma also served as the Group Tax Manager at SMEC from January 2016 to April 2018, and as the Tax Manager Australia/New Zealand at both Orora and Amcor from 2014 to 2015 and 2013 to 2014, respectively. Emma has also had a significant tenure at KPMG, where they worked as the Director - Tax and Transfer Pricing from 2009 to 2013 and as a Tax Manager from 1999 to 2008. Emma began their career as a Structural Engineer at various Consulting Engineers/Contractors from 1994 to 1999.

Emma de Roos attended Alleynes High School in Stone, where they completed their secondary education. Emma then went on to study at The University of Manchester from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Structural Engineering (BSc MEng).
